International Badminton Coach

This position requires candidate from global badminton circuit to work in a vibrant and challenging environment.

Job Description 

  • Design, conduct and coordinate training sessions for all levels of players (grass root to performance)

  • Deliver skills development and drills  in accordance with the objectives of the programme

  • Manage other projects and activity, as required

  • Attend fixtures/matches, as well as training sessions.

  • Analyse and report on the teams' performance.

  • Ensure health and safety policies and best practice are adhered to.

  • Establish team building and leadership opportunities for junior players

  • Manage all operational administrative tasks including registry, courts set up, players' test and assessment arrangement, equipment maintenance, etc

  • Prepare and run training camps and tournaments (local and overseas)  

  • Self-development under Head Coach

  • To UNDERTAKE other duties that may be used to achieve the objectives of this post

Qualification

  • With English-speaking coaching certification - minimum Badminton Europe or Badminton England or Badminton World Federation Level 1-2 and preferable  to be a Shuttle Time Tutor/ Assessor)

  • Fluent in written and verbal English

  • Experience in playing and/or coaching in the world of performance badminton

  • Preference towards professional international/ world badminton ranking

  • Experience working with international schools

  • Fit in a young and dynamic environment

  • Willing to learn

  • Good IT skills
